Banana on toast

This is one of my favourite breakfasts, the combination tastes like salted caramel with a crunch! Great for pre training nutrition or as a recovery snack.

Makes: 2 slices /  Total time: 5 minutes /  Prep time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of toasted sourdough bread
  • 1 Banana
  • Honey
  • Peanut butter
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Toast the bread and then spread desired amount of honey on first.
  2. Then spread desired amount of peanut butter on.
  3. Put half a banana on each slice and mash down with a fork.
  4. Grind some sea salt on top.
  5. Eat slowly with your eyes closed whilst sipping a coffee!  Enjoy
