Movement Series

Welcome to the Movement Series. Each session will explore a range of different movement patterns to help build stability, strength, balance and coordination. Maintaining good form and controlled breathing throughout the session is at the forefront of this practice. Listen to your body, go at your own pace and enjoy.
INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Movement Series. These routines will offer you a dynamic workout that is essential to anyone’s training program. Keep your breath controlled and maintain good form throughout.

MINI MOVEMENT 1

The Sun Salutation routine is an excellent sequence of moves that challenges key movement patterns of the body.

MINI MOVEMENT 2

This is a quick 15 minute workout if you are short of time and need to put the body through the motions.

MINI MOVEMENT 3

This session is a 25 minute routine that will get the body warmed up for the day.  It will challenge mobility, stability and strength whilst maintaining good breathing mechanics.

MINI MOVEMENT 4

This session will include a couple of standing postures and a great spinal rotation posture at the end.  Listen to the body and go at your own pace.

MINI MOVEMENT 5

This session is a quick routine that will challenge shoulder and hip stability.  Maintain form throughout and drop to the knees at any stage.

MOVEMENT 1

Todays session will challenge shoulder strength and stability as well as building balance in the hips and legs.

MOVEMENT 2

Todays session we will be holding the postures a little longer than normal, working on muscular endurance. 

MOVEMENT 3

Todays session we will increase the reps of some of the postures, which will challenge the legs.

MOVEMENT 4

Todays session explores some new moves. drop to the knees at any stage and don’t forget to breathe:)

MOVEMENT 5

Todays session will involve more transitions between postures, so drop to the knee during these connecting movements if needed. 

MOVEMENT 6

There is a new posture in todays class that will challenge spinal rotation and balance. Enjoy

MOVEMENT 7

There are a few challenging transitions in todays session. Enjoy the flow and drop to the knees at any stage.

MOVEMENT 8

Your session today will be less intense and more flowing. Drop to the knees between transitions if needed. 

MOVEMENT 9

Today’s routine will work on multiple movement patterns that will help build strength and stability throughout the whole body.

MOVEMENT 10

This routine will challenge the one leg standing pattern and hip mobility. There are some challenging postures in this session.

MOVEMENT 11

This session will challenge your one leg standing and include some dynamic transition. Enjoy!

MOVEMENT 12

This session is all about the flow. Move smoothly between postures and maintain control, balance and good breathing form. 

MOVEMENT 13

This session focuses mainly on legs and hip stability. It includes some dynamic movements between postures, and it challenges endurance. Please be mindful of the squat modification and skip this if you have a history of knee issues. Enjoy.
