Makes: 6 small pancakes / Total time: 15 / Prep time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup of white flour
- 1 cup of milk (can be soy or almond milk)
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tbsp sugur
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup of sourdough starter
- 1 small egg (can leave out)
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
Directions
- Put all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Grease frying pan with butter or preferred oil.
- Pour a 1/4 cup of mixture into a medium/high heat frying pan.
- After about 2 minutes and when the top starts to bubble then flip over and cook for a further 1-2 minutes
- Serve with berries, yogurt and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
- This is the basic recipe, however, you can experiment with different flours and add your personal twist to it.
